Dance Medicine – Creative Renewal 

In Core Connexion, we call dance a medicine. Not the kind measured in milligrams, but the kind that moves through breath, pulse and bone, the kind that remembers what wholeness and aliveness feel like.

This is medicine. The kind that loosens what is too tight, enlivens what is frozen, restores what is weary, and calls back the Lebensgeister — german for „the dancing spirits of life“ in us, awakening our vitality, creativity and resilience.

In community, the medicine deepens. We meet each other as moving beings, as life dancers and shape shifters woven together in rhythm and breath, in the field of creative expression. No one is outside the dance; each gesture ripples into the whole. Connection itself becomes healing.

When we create together as life dancers, shape shifters and creative researchers, we can forget who we think we are, take a pause from our roles, and expectations of life, and all kinds of possibilities can flow in. Together we create a co-creative space where a totally new dance can occur, where new responses to the questions of our time can arise. Together we can unfold, explore new paths and dance our lives. The art of listening with your whole being: Listening_Lab – A series on Embodied Listening

In this series, we explore listening as a full-body experience. Listening not only with our ears, but also with our eyes, our skin, our bones, our breath — through sensations, emotions, and inner images. Sometimes we listen inwardly, sometimes outwardly; sometimes we are surprised, moved, or even confused. All of this belongs to the practice of listening.

This Lab invites you into a creative field of movement and encounter — a space where curiosity and presence can unfold. Through guided explorations, improvisation, and somatic awareness practices, we open pathways to perceive sound, space, and each other in new ways.

Drawing on diverse somatic and artistic approaches, this workshop weaves together dance improvisation and body-based inquiry. It is an invitation to tune your whole being — to dance the act of listening, and to discover how listening itself becomes movement.
