Dance Medicine – Creative Renewal – Spring Workshop in Calgary

In Core Connexion, dance becomes a medicine. Not the kind we can measure in milligrams, but the kind that moves through breath, muscles and bone, the kind that remembers what wholeness and aliveness feel like. It loosens what is too tight, enlivens what is frozen, restores what is weary, awakening our vitality, creativity and resilience.

In community, the medicine deepens. We meet each other as moving beings. When we create together as life dancers, shape shifters and creative researchers, we can forget who we think we are, take a pause from our roles, and expectations of life, and all kinds of possibilities can flow in. Together we create a co-creative space where a totally new dance can occur, where new responses to the questions of our time can arise. Together we can unfold, explore new paths and dance our lives. Let’s dance our „medicine“ together.

Where: Evolved Movement Arts, 4005 9th Street SE, Calgary, AB, Canada

When: Friday 6:30 – 8:30pm, Sat & Sun 11am – 5pm

Regular: early bird: CAD $300, if paid before April 1st, CAD $335 after

Benefactor: CAD $370 (The benefactor rate covers the cost of the program and supports fellow dancers)

Cancellation Policy: Please note cancellations will incur a CAD $75 fee. Cancellations after April 1st, 2026 will receive a 50% refund. Refunds cannot be issued for cancellations after April 15, 2026 unless you find someone to attend in your place. If we need to postpone or cancel our workshop, you will be refunded 100% of the workshop fee. Please be advised we are not able to cover any costs incurred by registrants for transportation or accommodations, please take this in consideration when organizing your travel and accommodation plans.
